Simcenter is the Siemens simulation and test portfolio, covering structural, thermal, fluid, motion and multi-physics analysis alongside physical testing. Mendix applications do not run simulations. They handle everything around them — intake, status, result dashboards, test comparison and compliance reporting — reading simulation data through Teamcenter rather than from Simcenter directly.

Simcenter is a portfolio, and the answer changes the integration. Simcenter 3D flows through Teamcenter and is the usual starting point. STAR-CCM+ produces large files, so the app handles summaries rather than raw field data. Amesim parameter studies suit dashboards. Testlab is the test side of a comparison. HEEDS runs in the thousands, which is where a dashboard earns its place.
